immediate release vs. 6 months

Why would an FMO have a 6 month release wait, while other FMO's will give it to you immediately after paying off any advance balances?

I've worked with one that gave me an immediate release and have talked with other's that make you wait 6 months. This is for U65.

The reason the one has a 6-month is because the insurance companies won’t allow him to tie you up longer than that. He would prefer that he could tie you up forever and you could never work in insurance again.

NEVER sign up with an agency like that.
