Insulin & Isosorbide.... any takers? (Virginia)

Hmm... let rephrase what you said a bit...

I think I have a rather good handle on them... they have the longest app in the biz for what they do... I spend most of my on hold time with them compared to any other company... and I have had more crossed wires and wrong answers over phone conversations with reps than all my other options...

I use them because they are one of a kind in many respects... not because I find them easy to deal with... :nah:

I agree with you on this as well.

Did I "spray" all over you or something?

Maybe I should have been a bit more direct to you instead of trying to sugar coat it for you.

Here is what was said before: "No disrespect Dave Transamerica works well if you know how to work it."

Maybe I should have just said you obviously don't know how to work it.

THAT would have been the douche thing to say, not what I said in the beginning. Sorry if I hurt your feelings. Maybe you can talk to someone about it and it will all be okay then.

I'm a pretty patient guy. But you seem not to have bothered reading my post (that, Todd, was the douche thing, since you seem to have missed it: you decided to take a swipe at me without bothering to read and understand exactly what my gripe with Trans is/was).

Read it again, and tell me how I could have "worked it" so that two apps that were ultimately judged by Trans to have been originally submitted in good order would not first have been flagged as not in good order. I can't do anymore than submit the app as they want it submitted.

hm I don't know. In the post he quoted it didn't appear you were referring to just a single event.

In all honesty I was just making a general statement, not even really directed at you.

Let me make it again in just a little bit different way. Most of the agents that complain about Trans is because they do not understand how thorough you must be with Trans' apps. So, many of the problems that agents have with Trans is simply because they do not understand Trans.

It really wasn't directed at your situation with these two policies, and I apologize if I made it seem so.

TA PHI

Something I just learned. If someone other than the insured is the owner TA does a PHI.

Per the client it was pretty thorough. Not just "why is your daughter the owner".

OK, all you FE guys probably already knew that.

I just recently learned this... my way around that is to pass ownership after policy has been issued... I am not a fan of extra PHI if I can keep it from happening (properly) people get nervous on the phone...

I just like to be involved in the call. By the time I checked the portal and saw the PHI requirement, and had the time to call them to ask "what the hell is that for" it had already been done. Probably my fault for not catching it the day it hit the portal. Now I know.

I know Assurity does a PHI so I watch the portal, as soon as there is a policy number I do a three way.
