Insurance Gap/ Non Continous Insurance

Allstate was training their call center reps when I worked there to offer to SUSPEND the vehicle that was sold and leave comprehensive on there only, though in retrospect I don't know how I feel about that.

You can also get a non-owned liability policy, as mentioned before. The State Farm guy is doing one or the other for that.

NY and NJ are notorious for being pains in the ass for underwriting due to the state guidelines, laws, and loss ratios. Insurance companies also want someone who has a history of paying rather than someone who gives up insurance randomly- I'd prefer a steady income rather than a spotty one, if I could help it, so I'm sure the ins. companies are thinking the same thing.

yup i used to have allstate, i had a 400 dollar increase with no explaination, so i called them and said wtf at least tell me why. they said they dont know so i said i dont want insurance anymore.

they tried to scare me by telling me i wont be able to get insurance anymore if i cancel with them. lol guess they werent lying too much
