I am interviewing with an allstate agency this week and was hoping for some advice on what type of questions to expect etc in the interview!! This is my first interview with an Insurance company. Thanks

It sounds like you're not interviewing with an insurance company, but with an insurance agency. Big difference!

Is the job with Allstate, or an Allstate agent?

If it is an agency it will be a typical interview. They will want someone who will bring in business, do the grunt work, work the phone every second you are not talking to a client face to face, and basically suck you dry before you quit and they get to keep all the business you brought in to them.

If it is the insurance company, ditto except you will put up the money and take all the risk. They will be selling themselves to you to entice you into becoming an agent. You are the one who should be asking questions.
