Investments Vs Insurance? which is Better to Focus on

What do you base your opinion on?

Personal experience. In my short career I have yet to find an individual insurance agent I would trade business with. Although I have found plenty that make significantly more money. This is purely my preference and may not be shared by many others but I don't see how insurance compares to advisory, long term.
