IPad-using FE Agents

after talking with Newby, I went out and got a tablet. I went with a droid (toshiba thrive) since it would sync the google calendar, contacts from the cell phone/gmail account.

the form tools looks like a great app, with the droid i used nitropdf on my laptop to create the files, and then ezpdf viewer to fill the form and sign.

got to say, I love not having papers flying around my car, and hopefully this will prevent me from ever having to come back because I don't have the right app with me on the appt, so this will clean out 4 big hanging file folders from my trunk.

have already written a few apps with it, and paperless is the way to go!

Cool to know that the Droid works well too.

The iPhone/iPad also synchs with Google. I like. CalenGoo for the calender.

ah no kidding... i'll probably be setting up the gotomypc soon as well... anxious to give it a try

Be sure to give Splashtop a try before you take the Go To My PC dive. It's essentially the same thing, except with Splashtop you only pay for the app, and there's no monthly subscription fee.

Is Splashtop pretty quick? I would think they will take a big bite out of go to my PC if it works just as good.

I really don't know how it compares speedwise to GTMPC because I've never used GTMPC. It's a nice app though. It hasn't failed me yet.

I don't know about that. Splashtop can't be advertising much. Look at anti-virus software. Norton and MeAfee sell their crap while you can get just as good if not better for free. AVG, Microsoft Essentials, Threatfire etc.

So I should add an I-pad to my list of essential office products...what about an I-phone? Right now, I have a desktop, laptop (a small one). Looking to start getting assigned with companies soon. Will I need the above supplies prior to getting appointed or wait?

Thanks in advance!
