I wanted to be up front and ask what everyone thought about me trying to recruit on this forum. If the majority thinks it is o.k I will. If the majority thinks no, then I wont. I will also spell out in black and white what I have to offer if I do end up recruiting on here. Thank you in advance.

I wouldn't!!! Unless you have something VERY competitive to offer, you will be cut to shreds. soo, with that said...

Whatcha got?

Nothing wrong with recruiting on here. It's done all the time. Any direct offers should be made in the offers section.

If you provide value to the forum you won't have to recruit overtly. The agents will seek you out. Or others will refer then to you.

The posts that are simply here to recruit are easily spotted and those posters are the ones that get grief here.

Buckle up if you plan on recruiting in here. I only hire locally so I can do hands on training. The forum is full of great information for producing agents where the agents are experiencing things first hand.

I would say it depends on who you work with....

If you are captive or represent a company that the gurus don't like. Then you can not. If your rates are not considered competitive then you may not recruit!. You will be labeled as a marketer, recruiter, and be accused of smoke and mirror games and not being a personal producer.

:) You will also receive a yellow star next to your avatar to signify to everyone what you really are :)

But if you are an independent agency that works with approved companies then game on ;)

That is very good advice.

Gravel, just read the forum rules on offers and make sure you play by them. Only 65 more posts for you to go.

Funny but true.

Todd is a great example of how to recruit. He adds to the forum and recommended by those of use that use him. I have to think that Newby's email blew up when he started offering contracts as well.

Make sure you have your contact info in your signature.
