Someone I may know does this and the clients and prospects have never cared. That person let's them know where their headquarters are and they are actually highly entertained by it.

I’ve had 4 phone numbers since the day everybody had to pay long distance charges for calls to the next county over. My business cards still show them all. But my name is on all those numbers, so it’s not spoofing. What’s different about the VOIP providers?

Yea "the person I know" doesn't use anyone else name. That person isn't trying to hide anything really... they are just trying to increase the probability that the prospect will answer....
