I heard that NAA has gotten into selling Final Expense. Does anyone know about this?

Yes they are. I've contracted 4 of their agents the last 4-5 weeks. You'd be surprised at how NAA rips off their agents.

The agents even have to pay a fee to attend their training sessions and get around 50% comm. and pay around $26 for an old previously worked lead.

Yep, they are. They use MoO and Assurity. They have always done a bit of FE. They used to use Shenandoah's Golden Promise.

They apparently have FE leads now. Seems they charge the same for them as for MP leads.

Also Foresters. Forgot to mention them. NAA and Foresters are prety tight.

they sure are...If you are smart, you would get with an IMO that offers 7-10 different companies, and not just offer one company, like Senior Life...That you way you can have your clients best interest at hand, and not be forced to sell just one company to them!

Yes, they are selling FE. They actually have been for several years now, I still know a few agency managers with NAA (although I do keep them at a distance) They supposedly do leads for MP, FE, Annuities, Medicare supplements.

NAA agents selling annuities and supps :no:

I am waiting for my contracts to go through with the equita, and its bye bye NAA. They really push the mortgage protection program - whatever that means - but, I never liked it. The first FE appointment I ran was a breath of fresh air. I'm not sure why. I felt better about it, like I was helping people, not tricking them into getting something. The mort protection is borderline unethical. So, I went on a few ride alongs with a close friend in who is runs FE only, and yeah, ...

The FE leads are easier to close with NAA, but they are still old (if 01/16'2011 is old.) The youngest lead I have received was november. But they've all been free, so beggars can't be choosers I guess.
