Is NAA Selling Final Expense Now

I recruit agents that come from NAA all the time. They always tell me that the leads you get from NAA are not FE leads at all. They are mortgage protection leads.

NAA might carry some FE companies, but they are far from being in the FE business.

No, I have some NAA FE leads here right now. They say $255 blah blah. same thing. They're the real deal. Honestly, I did pretty good with them - for 65% comm. :SLEEP:of that.

You nailed it! not only do they offer lousy contracts, but you will be paying top dollar for leads... You can decide if this is the right move for you

Total scum. I think they make more money re-selling their crappy leads than they do selling insurance? Talked to them before, (they run an ad on every craigs list city page in the country several times a day I swear). I am so sick of responding to an ad, only to find out it's some piece of crap a-hole trying to recruit and scam some poor bast-ard. When I asked why I had to pay for B leads that had already been payed for, she hung up on me! $27.00 dollars for a return mail lead? Do your own mailing and get 110%-115%. They should be shut down along with AARP and their crap F-X type of plan that go's up in premium, (not locked in as a real F-X plan does), and ends at age 80! Wish the department's of insurance would get off their as-s's and shut both down. AARP, non profit? We don't sell insurance! My as-s you don't. God what scum.

Maybe they made more than they should have off me, I don't know. But working with NAA was great for me.

I had great mentoring and the leads were the best I ever worked. Yes, they started me at 65% and I didn't know any better, but I wasn't worth the 65%. I didn't know anything. As I produced they quickly moved me to 80%. Still low looking back, but I din't know any better.

I still use many of the things I was taught there in not only doing my presentations but also in setting appointments.

Should someone make a career there? No, absolutely not. Maybe I was the exception and no one else gets training and support there. I can only speak for my experience. Many that were under the same manager didn't make it. I have seen those people fail with every other FMO since then though.

My big problem with NAA was the ecruiting deal. They changed from being production focused to recruiting focused while I was there. Since I'm not interested in that it was the beginning of the end for me when they made that shift.

I agree. NAA was great for me. I started back in 2002 at 65%. Leads were great, training was great. Worked up to 85%. One annual convention was a decent drunk. Then they changed to the recruiting focus and started to nickle and dime you for everything. Started having several conventions a year. Way too much rah rah & recruiting. There are probably a couple good managers left that would be a good starting place someone new.

I started with NAA and did well. It was my first experience with the insurance business and mostly I liked the guys and mngmt. Had a chance to meet Andy and some of the owners during a convention. I quit and went to Vegas to hang out with some friends and they called me for months to come back. Much prefer what I'm doing today in FE but have fond memories of those guys.
