We've been moving towards keeping everything stored electronically. It sure is a lot less paperwork. I doubt we will ever go totally electronic, but it would be nice. Just curious as to how many out there are nearly entirely electronic?

Almost there but I still like hard copy brochures and Broker Guides around.
I have NO file cabinets in my office with customer files in them. Everything is scanned and stored electronically.
Nightly backups happen automatically.
Backups of the backup happen weekly (just in case).
Up to a certain size, its actually faster, simpler, easier to stay with paper. I just bit the bullet about 5 years ago and paid someone to scan all of my paper files and I've just done it since.

I have SO many paper files...this is what I am faced with. I would need to have someone just scanning stuff in the system...
The next time you have to buy a new file cabinet, buy the scanner instead.
With a good scanner, it's amazing how much you can knock out quickly.

Have the guy you were going to fire do it.
