It Seems More and More People Not Answering the Phone.Door Knocking Might Be the Wave of the Future

Wow its getting hard to get people to answer the phone with DM leads.I'm wondering if the FE business might become a door knocking business in the future. It just seems if people don't recognize a #they won't answer the phone.

I agree 100%. I called all my DM leads and most didn't pick up. I think three made appointments w me out of 15. Now I door knocked the others and I have closed four more. The others haven't answered calls or door knocks. I'm still following up but so far door knocking has helped.

Do you folks who make your own appts get a bad reaction at the door when previously they told you no interest on the phone? How do you handle the DK after a blow-off on the phone---allow some time before DKing them and playing dumb to any previous phone call to them or what?

Yes, allow time and play dumb. It's easier for some to act dumb than others!

If I have time between appointments, yes.

I normally run several appointments throughout the day now, so it's rare I have the time to door knock.

But when I first started I door knocked everything.

Yes, I have worked this business doing only door knocks, doing only appointments and every which way you can probably try.


My results were...door knocking only was the least efficient way.


That being said, if money was an issue and I could only order a small amount of leads, I would door knock everyone of them.

I had a few ppl I tried to make appointments with who said they already have life insurance, thanked me and hung up. So you would wait about two weeks and just act dumb?
