Just signed up for NetQuote Free Leads...

Somarco...you are right on the money.

My cost of InSureMe leads has gone from $7.95 to $10.96 within the last 6 months. However, under InSureMe's new system, the prospect picks who they want to be contacted by. By mentioning I am local in my bio and warning the applicant to stay away from out-of-towners, I notice that sometimes (not most of the time)...I am only competing with 1-2 other agents.

Out of all the lead companies we used at my last company they had the best luck with Insureme They hated netquote and prospectzone There always seemed to be so much competion with those leads though you would call them and they would say i've been called by 30 agents already. I started calling the old leads in the system 90+ days old and had much more luck you have to scrub these of course.

The internet leads are junk. It's a needle in a haystack. They can tell you there aren't any incentive leads but I have caught them selling them, blaming affiliates.

I don't understand their business of selling information that is useless. When it comes to hype, they have it all over car dealers.

Maybe it's because I sell in Flori-duh that the leads are useless, like most of the people.

I guess that doesn't say much for you then. You are living here? If you're so unhappy, you ought to take your negative crap back "up north".

I would further guess that this type of attitude and mindset is really effective in dealing with prospects...

You should have stayed in automobile sales, it seems like you're much better suited for it.

Thanks for proving my point.

I just signed up for the NetQuote trial offer... $250 worth of Free Leads with a 90 day commitment. I chose the $10 preferred health leads and limited myself to 1 zipcode so I can keep the costs down initially while I test drive their service. The rep told me that there is only 1 other agent in the zip code I chose (yea right!) but my plan is to test them with the 25 $10 leads, and if they stink, change to the $3 leads and ride out the balance of the 90 days then bail.

This is my first time I am trying internet leads, but I thought I should try it just to get a taste of this side of the health sales biz.

Anyone else ever use NetQuote and your results please.

Also, feel free to add your favorite internet sales lead company (agents only please).

Thanks,
Al

Hey Al,

Any update on how those worked out for you? Just curious because I was looking at the same offer, thanks

NQ has cut their prices but be prepared to compete with 5-8 agents. Also...in the last 12 months, medical conditions are being omitted as their affiliate use has increased.

In addition, NQ often uses ugly search terms such as diabetic health insurance and things such as that. Oh...and don't forget that they use dental insurance phrases to obtain prospects. They don't like to admit it and they won't credit for those either.

Who can you trust? Nobody.

Proof that internet leads are full of junk. I bet that if I researched it I would find that I only reach much less than 50%. Many of those have already had numerous calls for the same products you carry.

It's a telemarketing job using the internet leads but you will make a living If you are a good closer.
