Letters - Marketing - Mailers?

I was looking to do a mailer to anyone I have sold insurance to and any old leads that I have come across over the years to try to sell more or cross sell other products. It’s only about 500-1000 people. I was wondering what everyone mails out or if anyone could share something that has worked for them or any ideas.
