I don't think it is at all, of all the things I'd like to complain about being captive with LM that's not one of them.

It's not advertising. It's telemarketing and transferring anything with a pulse. They have a vendor who calls, lets's say a Geico customer, and says they are with Geico and that they need to transfer them to customer service to review their policy as there has been some changes and then proceed to transfer. Its an 18 year old who googled "cheap insurance". Local agents probably don't get these, I'm speaking from experience in their contact center. I hope you guys never get them.

Where did you get a document saying they would allow you out of the non-solicitation due to having Safeco? I would love to be able to do this as well. Is it something your legal counsel would be ok, or something LM/Safeco said would be ok?

I used to be. Trying to walk on egg shells, but do have a Safeco appt. So if there is something that would allow me to put some of my old LM book with them that'd be awesome. Otherwise, I'm doing everything I can to avoid writing a dollar of their business. Just can't afford the extra 30 hours a week to fight them if they got nasty.

Let me know if you have any luck with being able to roll your book.. I doubt they will ever allow something like that though.

There is no way to roll the book. LM's book is always going to be LM's book.
