I am thinking about creating a website where folks can get instant life and health quotes. I like how Somarco's site is set up but I'd like to offer life insurance quotes as well. Does anyone know of a quote engine that will do both life and health or would I need to purchase two separate engines? Does anyone have a site already set up to do this?

I haven't seen one that does both, but I have built sites to do both... Using Compulife for life & Broker Office for health.

Quotit has limited capacity to quote life. Not as sophisticated as Compulife but comes built in to their health engine.

Thx for the kind words.

I am having the site revamped to give it a cleaner look and better navigation. Hope to have it ready to go in a few more weeks but you never can tell about these things.

E financial has the best I have seen so far.
I went a head and signed up with them because of the online quoting capabilities.

This eFinancial?

Looks like this is a brokers site. (Scroll to bottom of index page).

Invitations for application for life insurance on Efinancial.com are made through Efinancial, LLC or through its designated agent, Michael W. Rowell, only where licensed and appointed. License numbers are available upon request and are automatically provided where required by law. Michael Rowell is a licensed life insurance agent in all 50 states, including the District of Columbia, and his resident state of Washington. Michael W. Rowell's Washington license number is 150354; in California, 0C83033; in Louisiana, 265202; in Minnesota, 20234878; in Utah, 126919; in Massachusetts, 1757436; and in Texas, 1001041. This is just my opinion, but, an important question to consider....

How much traffic do you currently have coming to your site and/or how are you ranked with yahoo, bing, google?

If your traffic is minimal the benefits of a quoting engine will not outweigh the cost, in my opinion. Also, from personal experience, their not the best for SEO ;)...
