Live Appointment Setting Session

Were you selling insurance over here or was that before? Just getting licensed back up and getting started again. I actually live a little North of there in Abingdon, building a house in Chilhowee, but I just say Bristol cause more people recognize it.

I was recently driving through Abington (been there several times - Love The Martha!) and I picked up on a radio station playing some great older songs that I have not heard in many years....WOLD is the call letters. Heard one song that I know I've not heard in at least 20 years....

Decided I would learn that on the guitar and do it at one of our Veterans gigs.

Will you be playing and singing? You'll have to tape it and post it on the Forum. Give those Gordon Girls some competition Todd. :twitchy:

Yes, I will. Not sure when we'll have the chance to do it, but eventually.

And for those Vets who don't know about G4V (Guitars for Vets), then I highly suggest you look into it at your local VA. That is, if you want to learn the guitar or if you already know, then help someone else learn. Helps with anxiety and PTSD.

Guitars For Vets | Restoring the feelings of joy and purpose that can be lost after suffering trauma.

Had never heard of this. Fantastic. I'm a vet who has played guitar for over 30 years. (not great but ehhhh) I'll look into this. Thanks for the heads up.

Drive to Delaware and get a room - Josh stays at a nice place with a good continental breakfast. And Wilmington is a great FE city to see someone go out and get it done.
Your my age so you may understand. I bought a house at the end of February that I have demo'd down to the foundation and am rebuilding. Between my job and the house I'm putting 80+ hours a week in and am sore as hell. The completion goal is Halloween but will probably be closer to Thanksgiving. I have used every hour of pto up for this year so unless I get it done early so I can quit and do FE full time I'll have to wait till after the first of the year. This new house is going to make me much more financially secure and allow me enough savings to get started in FE again. I have managed in my spare time to pass my life insurance exam but have seen enough people advise getting my health too that I'm studying it now to go ahead and knock it out in the next couple weeks. Just too old and not enough hours in the day.
