I have an 85 year old looking to purchase a life insurance policy with the goal to maximize death benefit.

He turns 86 in July, takes only lisinopril and Crestor.

Had a heart attack 16 years ago along with bypass surgery and had prostate cancer 15 years ago and has been treatment free for about that long, too.

Wants $25,000.00+. Quoted him on an Oxford SIWL policy, but wanted to ask you non-SIWL what other options there might be, based on his health history.

Thanks,
Dave

IF you could get a standard rating with RNA it would be $293.39 for Standard-NT and $399.55 for Standard Tob.

If you need to continue with SIWL, I think Monumental will actually be cheaper than Oxford.

On the SIWL American Memorial is ALWAYS the cheapest at that age by far.

For underwritten the RNA will be less.

Yeah, I thought about American Memorial too, but they will only go to 20K for that age and he would have to qualify as preferred.
