A while back I posted about DM leads from the BR area being absolute crap. I used to sell with a face to face IMO in the BR area and stunk it up big time. I could never get people to let me in the door. Most of the time when I got them on the phone, they were so rude and just angry at the world and took it out on me. The Facebook leads I was purchasing through Equita were a little better but still were mostly crap.
Needless to say I was not successful at all. I tried explaining to my managers that I thought it was the people and cultural differences in south Louisiana. They didn't believe me.
I left that IMO to start telesales in multiple states and already in two weeks I've made as much money as I did in three months at my previous IMO.
When I call my leads in other states they're so receptive to me and why I'm calling. They have questions and want the product. When I call one from Louisiana they are angry I'm calling and hang up on me after yelling at me.
First of all, I'm thrilled I made the leap to telesales. I've never made this much money in my life. Second of all, I just am speechless over how freaking much different Louisiana folks are with final expense leads.
Anyone else notice this difference between Louisiana leads and those from other states?
