I appreciate a pitch starting off with I do not want to recruit. I made a poorly worded joke....I only sell life insurance to people who are depended on by beneficiaries....?

What is unclear? He didn't say he doesn't recruit. He says he doesn't want anyone who fails to meet his criteria.

At least you know upfront what his expectation are, rather than waiting for weeks to months for a carrier to tell you know.

Seriously. Like him or hate him, you know exactly what you are getting into with Greg. He is pretty clear about his expectations and what he will do for you. Just the details to work out which is better done in person.
