Lowest FE Premium -- Aggressive Shopper

I do NOT wish to recruit anyone from this site unless they live in NC or VA, looking for full-time, coachable, has a fico score of 650 or better, no vector problems, has the juice to invest $480 per week for 20 fresh exclusive direct mail leads, can come to Raleigh, NC for some one on one training via tele-sales or field sales, and has a burning desire to succeed.

I also agree that JD has posted some great info for FE agents to learn from. Sometime....as is so true in sales....it's not what you say, but how you say it.:)

In fact, if I was one of you independent guys, I would try to do a ride a long with him for a day or 2, buy his lunch, and pay for his gas as it should be a worthwhile investment for you.

That's all I was saying. (bold above)

Good idea! I volunteer toriealong.

And you weren't wondering about this statement?

Could you be a little more specific?????? :D:D:D:D:D:D:goofy:

I appreciate a pitch starting off with I do not want to recruit. I made a poorly worded joke....I only sell life insurance to people who are depended on by beneficiaries....?

Well, guys, thanks for all who contributed to this thread -- looks like I stirred up a little brouhaha without meaning to.

I ended up selling the lady a $25K UL from North American and she ought to end up paying about $60/month (if she gets super preferred, which is entirely possible, she's the healthiest 70-year-old I've ever met with), or, at worst, $79.22/month, standard. Either is a huge savings over the $120 she's now paying for her 3-year-old SIWL from American Continental.

This should work well as she's a special case -- very healthy, no Rx drugs except for acid reflux, perfect height/weight, and she doesn't mind one bit doing a paramed visit.

I still plan to expand my FE quiver of arrows to include RNA.

Again, thanks everyone, and hope you all had a great Independence Day week/weekend.

Ah, good to know that about North American. I didn't know they would offer that low amount in coverage. I know North American has one of the better IUL policies with the critical illness rider and better performance (lower fees).

You should mention that it isn't whole life with the guarantees and the other variables involved as the other agent might remind her and get involved ;)

That sounds like a nice fit though, and you also could up the coverage for her and still save some coin for her.

Yeah, thanks for the advice, Gordon -- I spent a lot of time telling her those details, but rammed home the notion that she needs to faithfully pay her premiums every month to keep the NLG in effect.

I did not know NACOLAH had dropped their minimum face to $25K on those UL's myself. It was a surprise when I ran the quote engine. Another surprise was that Genworth also offers a $25K UL for a 70-year-old lady, although they were just a tad higher in premium.

The key that makes it all work is that she is completely cool with the paramed visit, and also that she is very healthy. Those clients are hard to find, which is why my first inclination is to take the path of least resistance -- Oxford, Kemper, Gerber, Monumental, Columbian, Standard, etc. with no paramed exam.

+1
Sounds like you are on the right track.
