I will be doing some mailers along with telemarketed leads and was wondering what is considered good counts for a specific area when doing mail?

I will be using typical FE demographics.( 50-85 age, 15k-49k income)

2,843 is a good count....

Ok, so I guess I should ask what is the minimum count acceptable to use for mailers?

It depends on how much mail you plan to drop and how often you plan on doing it.

I mail 2,000 a week or 8,000 a month. I won't re mail a area for 6 months. Hope this helps

Would it be fair to say that you need an area of about 48,000 people that meet your demographics?

Sounds about right. For the year. I run 3 counties repeating areas after 6 months.

On ave what are your returns? And how much per 2000...Im assuming about $800? So your lead cost per month is $3200??

Sometimes I do 1500 sometimes 2000 never less than 1500. I pay 2800 a month. I pull high in pockets. 1.5.

Wow, so u pull between 22 & 30 leads a mailing huh? Nice, but thats a ton of $$$ for leads every month....wouldnt an IMO like EFES be better cost wise?
