Manager Took My Money - Gave Me No Leads

I'm having a major problem with my final expense manager.

He sold me some fresh telemarketer leads that take 3 to 5 days to start coming in for $375 but I never received them. 25 for $15 = $375. I paid for the leads with my debit card on July 26. Then I went on vacation, got back, no leads...he said he forgot to send in my lead order so he allegedly ordered them on Monday August 13.

He asked me to work with him on August 16, I drove. He basically begged me to buy some more leads but to pay him in cash. He said he was "running a special" and that he would prefer cash so that he can avoid the credit card convenience fee he has to pay (which was probably around $10).

So, even though I never got my first lead order...I gave him $250 cash for 25 more telemarketed leads.
I've known him since March of 2015 and I foolishly trusted him. Today is August 29 and still no leads.

Last week he was "sick", this week he's not responding to me! He has basically stolen $625 from me. $375 of which I can prove and dispute with my bank but the $250 cash is just that...cash. I was driving and he convinced me to go to a QuickTrip UMB ATM.

I realize I am an *** for giving him cash and trusting him I just can't believe he would do it.
