Medicaid?

Unfortunately there's very little loyalty in the clients we deal with overall ... We deal with mostly Lazy people who've hardly worked in their life and they've gamed the system their whole life .

This is not meant in anyway as a personal shot at you, @DonP and I hope you don't take it that way.

Just turning what you said around a bit: Is it possible that your clients are disloyal to you because they sense the contempt in which you hold them? Isn't that possible?

These folks may not have Harvard degrees, and some haven't finished high school, but they aren't stupid. If you speak plainly and ask them questions as you go along, they follow just fine.

I don't work FE like I used to, but I did work some leads this week and will do some more FE this coming week. I don't understand agents who feel that our clientele have no loyalty, and think that our FE peeps are lazy free loading good-for-nothings. If you feel this way, then you probably also feel that "the leads suck, they all think its free, none of them can afford more than $30 or $40 a month etc." I love my FE peeps and I think they all get that I really want to help them and within moments of meeting me they have no doubt of my sincerity.

This country is set up to make most Americans fail. It is not an easy place for most folks to make their own way anymore, and wages have been stagnant since the average 68 year old entered the work force at 18. Most of my FE peeps worked hard until they just "couldn't work no more."

And guess what? It is probably easier for them to find $100 a month now for life insurance than it would have been for them to find even $20 when they were working and raising their family.

Most of these folks are in the position they are in not because they failed to plan and prepare for retirement, but because at the end of the month, there was nothing left to plan and prepare with. So it is our job to help them. Man, show them that you really and sincerely care and they'll be loyal. And I don't mean fake sincerity where you stroll in and start popping off about the pictures of the grandkids and how nice the furniture is ... "Oh my, slip covers! Is that the original plastic?"

FE peeps, imo, have finally tuned bull$h*t meters. Contempt is a form of BS. How much loyalty would you have to a salesperson who you sensed held you in contempt behind a Cheshire cat smile?

I wish JD would come back.
His people (according to him) are pretty loyal. Two way street.

JD is good people. And his people sense that when he sits with them. I wish he'd come back too 'cause this place could use another blue collar agent who hasn't forgotten his blue collar roots.

No negativity taken . I ask one question . Why are you in the house ? Because many have filled out their 10 th card of the yr . Many weren't loyal to the last agent so why would they be loyal to you ? I might have painted the whole fe group as one . But a % of them are like that . Even Jd in a tape said he wouldnt call them loyal . I do over $200 k fe a yr and I'll do 250 mapd's this yr . I try as hard as I can to bond and get loyalty .And to say that most fe clients are not looking for free stuff like extra benefits and ssdi is incorrect . Most are .So my question to you is if you loved fe clients and selling was so good why did you switch gears to mostly middle class ? I accept the type people we sell to .

Because I this way I can help them before they have no choice but to send in DM cars for burial insurance. I'm not working with rich folks, I'm working with regular folks. And there parents often become clients of mine. They are buyers of simplified issue whole life policies.

I am an agent of and for the people!
