Medicare Supplement/Gap Vs Final Expense

But Thad can somebody in non telesales really even writing 3 Ms apps a week? We've already said persistency is very high so replacing is tough. That leaves assaulting the T-65 mkt to write yr round and that mkt is saturated to no end. So that being said I think building your book in the med sup mkt is a slow long process. For somebody young i'd definitely be looking at that mkt for a long career.

Good insight about forcing sales #very true. Just stating averages. Lincoln was telling me about 70 percent places but very true about no pushing sales.

Lincoln is FOS. That is all you really need to know...I wouldn't believe a word out of any of there mouths.

Man. I had a great response typed out then I got a phone call and the message got kicked out. I pm'ed you my number. Give me a ring if you want my take.

Thanks for taking the time to chat with me, your tips and insight will definitely be put to use.

Simmer down bro. My 13 month persistency is around 78%. So while I stick to my original statement that you were being dramatic....and you are/were...I'm not disagreeing that MS is a great venue for residual income...I actually agree it is much better long term...problem is a lot of people don't have the resources to live off of rice and beans for 3 years... We are like the JG Wentworth commercial....need cash now...ok now that's kinda funny

Dude the song is ringing in my ear now thanks.

There are plenty of killers on this forum writing more than 5-8 supps per week. Of course most of them do it over the phone...however you've gotta look at the world through a different lens to see it.

I was chatting with SAI today about supps...pretty much told him I dk t have the discipline to sit at a home office for 6-8 hours a day even 2 days a week to do supps...I'd end up eating potato chips and watching Judge Judy...the. I'd have to sell myself a FE policy ;)

Yes, when I was doing F2F MS sales I was averaging 5 sales per week working 3 days of appointments. My 2 other buddies were averaging 7+ per week.

True med supps can be effective doing tele sales as persistency high. Fe telesales a disaster. Walked in a apartment today and the door handle was off. There was a caretaker on a computer when I walked in. The lady was in the back room bedridden. She was 5-3 460lbs insulin diabetic ,copd and heart problems. She insisted she wanted day one coverage. I told her to call Moo and walked out. There's some sick suckers out here.

The problem sirherbie and I have is that we live in Metro Atlanta. Heavy MA penetration and unless we want to do telesales we'll be driving all over the state.

I know that sman and Somarco live in metro Atlanta and do telesales...I admire those guys
