I sell plan F so I don't have to worry about it, but I have not had one prson tell me that they have encountered excess charges.

I've been selling them for sixteen years and my clients haven't gotten hit with Excess charges and you probably already know that I only sell Plan D. (Plan G if the company doesn't offer a Plan D.) I recently read a report that stated over 99% of doctors in the US today Accept Assignment.

Even if their primary care physician doesn't Accept Assignment, that doesn't necessarily mean that they need a Plan F.

Yes, I prefer to explain it as the amount above the value that Medicare has assigned to the claim. Hence the term "Accept Assignment". I think prospects understand that a little better.
