x2 here in Pa. I believe most of their sales come from State Farm agents. I have several State Farm agents that call me because they dont want Assuant.

Not just Pa, but Ohio and In as well. However, Assurant does write child-only st plans, which is helpful in specific situations.

yea, I just did it for 2 kids that were under 8 years old. 2 separate applications

I have just 2 groups left with them. I quoted small group with them all last year. In some cases they were 60% higher than market conditions.

The ancillary line is OK but they were still high.

I think the only areas they sell group products are rural communities where the national networks don't care.

As I posted before the day of the carrier renting networks is coming to an end. The carrier is not getting a deep enough discount to be competitive.

IF your plan isn't grandfathered, it will do the magic disappearing act in 2014.

Grandfathered plans could disappear too. Will depend on the carrier.
