Just did a female in the household mailer with Chris at Lead Connections, so far about 1.4% , several with husbands still alive!

Last 4 mail drops & T/M leads

Settlers 1000 return 6
Monumental 1000 return 6
Lead Connection 1000 return 9
Lead Connection 1000 so far 5 *

*Placed order 30 days ago
Senior Final Expense Life Insurance Program on card
Mailed to urban area.

The first 3 mail drops in suburban area where in the past would consistently return anywhere from 15 to 20, once 30 replies, using generic lead card.

Also used TM leads two times, 20 & 15 pretty much same cost as mailers....

Quality of all TM leads pretty much the same as mailers, good ones bad ones and in the middle.

Just work the living crap out of them.

Americo is that way too. Except they will insist that the agent leave. The Mon one I did the lady asked me to leave but I told her he was using my phone because he was out of minutes on his and I wasn't leaving without my phone. She went ahead with the interview after that.

Lol aggressive move. I'm gonna use that.

I sent 2000 with Monumental .8%
2000 Jenmarco 1.2%
3500 with Lead connections and so far I am at 1.5% plus they send me the hard copy as well unlike the two I mentioned above. The customer service and no bullshit way of doing business is great at the Lead Connection.

Does it make any sense to pull your own data from like infofree.com, get a postal permit and do your own mailing? I know it may be more expensive up front but could the results be better?

Mailing alone would be $470/1000. The postal permit would be around $400 up front.

Has anyone pulled their own list for the lead vendor to mail the card out to?

What do you think needs to be done to get 2+%?

You can probably factor that 2 out of ten will be bad data if you drive it and knock. It may not be worth it , up to you. The data companies do not spend the money to clean their sh.t up. Ymmv

Used infofree.com as a list source for mailings. Averages 9% bad data.
