Monumental Direct Mail Drop

Actually, our experience is that it's not worth it to try to work down in Miami or Even Broward... The return there is poor and Hispanics tend to tell us how their family will take care of things when they die so the sales ratio is very low... So, we travel to work out of the city!!!

Interesting, I haven't worked the area or any area on the east coast. I am just going buy what my IMO told me. I guess this guy has a system down, and maybe he is working a larger area then just Miami.

My experience is that hispanic families often have cleaner houses, and are Catholic which requires a burial on consecrated ground.
Hablo espanol un poquito. Tomo tres anos in mi escuela.

It gets me by enough to get through the door. Nice people. I would be open to doing a spanish drop. I do have spanish monumental flyers with me at all times.

The other day I sold an arabic family, and since I grew up with greeks and arabs I know a few words to stimulate conversation.

I said not having a plan in place is heble, they laughed and bought.;)

Great information, it is a great growing Latin community that needs good agents.

I wish a burial was a Catholic requirement. I'm seeing more and more opt for cremation.

Which is crazy cause burning bodies in the Bible is considered the height of disgrace and dishonor.

I'm half tempted to bring this up one day, but I doubt it would go ever well.

Cremation is just an added step if they want to follow modern Catholic teachings.

They are to have a wake with the body present, they have to have a funeral Mass with the body present (embalmed and casketed).

The cremation is only to be done AFTER all of this.

The cremains are to be buried in a Catholic Cemetery.

I know a lot of Catholics will still go for a direct cremation and not go with the Catholic ceremony at all. But if they are REAL practicing Catholics, they usually follow what the church requests.
