Monumental Life Lead Program

Hoosier, what range of response rates do you usually get with "Life Insurance" in the 1st sentence?

The other X factor is what is your Sample Size... You have to be committed to the mailing campaign. It is more accurate if you do 8,000 mailers over a month and average your returns opposed to just dropping 1000 pieces.

A baseball player can strike out his first time at bat but still go 4 for 5 and hit for the cycle for the game...

You should get a 1%, if you live any where other than KY, GA or AR...

I agree about the sample size. What does the AVERAGE agent write in production per 20 leads? Or about how many of the 20 leads produce one or more apps? (PS: I know your figures would be higher than the AVERAGE agent I'm asking about).

So I can't make 5 appointments in 2 hours? I have had Franks training, a targeted list, a Mojo dialer and also $50 bucks says I can do this any day of the week but Sunday.

Better pick up that BS flag and put it back in your pocket. Your instant replay challenge was overturned!

Call for 6 hours rather 2 hours and TRIPLE your income.

Hey, it's your BS story, tell it like you want to. You made 5 sales all set up in two hours - hey, who am I to interject reality into your fantasy. And what state are you calling into, Fantasyland?

Sam, read what he wrote, he made 5 appointments in two hours of calling. thats a great job...

NOW the presure is on, he has to sell 2-3 to be the man....

lol...ya not 5 sales. That would be SWEET! If I can get one combo Med Supp and FE sale out of all those, I'm way happy since all of the appointments are back to back. They are appointments with people that were ready to sit down and see what kind of money we could save them every month.

I think the biggest thing that has helped me is using an analogy to describe Med Supps. I heard it here on the board, so I would take credit for it, I just changed the words and made it mine. I think they called it a commodity when they explained it...who ever it was.

I ask the prospect what kind of laundry detergent they use. Then explain to them that even if they buy it from Wal-Mart or K-Mart because it is on sale, it is still the same detergent. All we want to do is shop for the best price on your Plan F (or whatever). I'm not trying to change their coverage, just who they pay their monthly premium to and who the doctor gets paid by.

This has made it easier (not easy) to get appointments. Oh, and the Mojo...freakin awesome. So worth the money. I usually just set it on 2 dialers though since my answer rate here in Utah is so good. I'm sure I will crank it up when I start calling into the bigger cities and when more of the snow birds move back up north for the summer.

I think what my first post was saying, is that for ME, I'm doing ok setting appointments. I think for me sending out mailers is just leaving some stuff up to chance and losing some of the control. If my return rate on my calling isn't as good today, tomorrow I can call longer to make up for the bad day. Can't really do that with mailers the very next day.

eh...to each his own.

That is a good question... I really belive that an "Average Agent" if working 20 leads a week that has the words "Life Insurance" on the card, should average somewhere between 6-10 sales a week. Remember some of those cards will be (husband & wife) and will have two opportunities...

But "Average Agents" are not around long selling FE. These seniors will chew an average agent up and spat them out...

Mon life changed their apps and where to send them .. you have to send to cedar rapids admin.. very confusing.. as some products are still not state approved , at least in CA, since the change over..
