MSPM and Other DM Vendors

I hear from a few spots that MSPM resells leads after 6 months to securus who then sells them to their agents.

I don't know if that's true but I did hear that from an agent with Securus. he used to send out mail through MSPM and now is getting the same leads from Securus that he already paid for once.

I know these folks are serial mailers but he insists that they are the exact same pieces. Not just the same people mailing in a different card.

That is fraudulent. I wish there was a way to sue the **** outa companies that do this.
It makes me feel that the only way to go these days is by doing your own mailings...

No, but if everyone would just quit using them from this forum it would surely hurt the bottom line. Just kills me to still see people using them when there are other options available with upstanding businesses.

It's not worth doing mail on your own but it is worth seeking out a reputable company to drop your mail.

I heard EFES will print/send mail for agents who are outside their system...idk about price. They have their own print shop etc, something about they can get 10k pieces on the truck in 4 hrs or something crazy like that. The normal leads have your initals printed on them.
It's hard to imagine an actual print shop ripping folks off that blatently...every one I've been to is an example of old school tradesmanship and pride.

Seems to me a good idea would be have access to the mailing list, and if a 'lead' appointment stands you up, just door knock the surrounding seniors -- hold up the card and say 'I sent you this card, have you sent it in yet? No? That's great! That's why I'm here!!

Gotta love FE....

EFES will not do mailers for agents not contracted with them.

As for the non responders EFES now has this deal where they call the non responders and ask them if they would like an agent to contact them. If yes then you can buy that lead at your normal PPL price.

I tried a few a couple of months ago as a pilot program and didn't much care for them. They have been refining the script and the questions and I now hear great things about these non responder leads but I haven't tried any more of them yet. I probably will after the first of the year. I am done running leads for 2012.

We have our own in house DM for our agents, however, we spend a lot of money testing other companies such as MSPM, target leads, etc...

We have had a lot of success with the competitors, but it's good to stay on top of these DM companies. We keep costs down mainly because we can have the lead cards shipped directly to the agent's PO Box, which always drops the cost...just need to have it setup correctly with your local post office. I also confirmed that MSPM will also send directly to your own personal PO Box...another way you can reduce costs with MSPM.

Just a thought if you guys want to lower your cost/1000, look into asking the companies to return the cards directly back to you.

But back to the point of the thread. I have tested MSPM with much success, never had issues and would recommend to anyone. Oh and if you're contracted with Foresters, they'll give you a small discount!!

This is the perfect discription of Leads2Success.

I thought I was the only one experiencing this with Leads2Success / Greg Swaney, until I read a thread about everyone else's experience there. Their cost per 1,000 was much cheaper, then I found out why. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

I keep hearing good things about the Lead Connections..

Candy at MSPM used to take good care of me there.. then she parted ways with the company. Anyone happen to know if she went to a competitor?

.

Why not have them give you the signed form 3602 from the post office that proves your mail went out?

Whenever you ask for this, they really seem to be hesitant and tell you it creates more work for them, which I'm sure it does.

Ya, that and the fact that they would actually have to drop all of your mail, more work and more expense for sure. It boggles my mind as to why some agents are still using some of these companies.
