Who can fill us all in on why Mutual of Omaha's Living Promise and Foresters Plan Right are competitive vs. the others???

Going through the apps, I don't see why I would want to write these products.....am I missing something?

Neither of those stand out in the crowd of FE products.

That's what I thought but wasn't sure if I was missing something. I can't seem to find any reason to sell either one of these products.

I just go done talking to a lady that will not go with any company but MOO. There is definitely a need for it and its the brand recognition. The living promise plan is not available in FL yet but the express rates are about the same. Living promise is supposed to be easier underwriting.

When the MoO Living Promise was coming out, I was told way ahead of time that they would be much like Monumental's app and underwriting. In the end, they are nothing like Monumental.

However, I'm now being told they are looking at revising their app for easier underwriting. We'll see.

I don't see brand name as much of big deal. You already have RNA. Their rates are better than any of the ones listed above.

The only way I would pick up MoO is is they let me write the GI plan too. I can't see them doing that.

I hate dealing with them anyway. I've my med sup list down to only 5 clients left with them. None of them can qualify to move or I would be done completely with MoO, UoO, United World or whatever their name of the month is now.

I agree, but I will keep them in my bag for this very reason mentioned. When a family that has paid to a company over the years and got a check within 5 days of a family death they will certainly only want to deal with them.

Just test the waters when you bring up MOO. A whole lot of people had bad experiences with their Med Sups. (rate increases)

Any well known brand will have non-fans as well as fans.

I love MoO where I'm at. The Living Promise FE is very competitive... The brand recognition is great as well. Only people that have any complaints for the Medsupps seem to be the ones that have N plans that took a moderate increase years ago.

The MoO is no more competitive where you live than anyone else. That's just what you chose to sell. Many, many better options out there.
