My personal experience with Aflac

Re: Working for Aflac?

I have been selling AFLAC products for over 5 years now. Discount cards do not pay the policy holder any cash to help keep the lights on, food on the table, that is what AFLAC all about.

and with a Health plan and a Real disability policy all that is taken care of....

You can make $25 a month payments to the hospital/doctor, but not the power company, or the place where you buy your food, your car payment/house payment.

and how are you going to get that operation that will save your life when you tell the hospital and surgeon "I know I don't have insurance but I have $25 a month to give you".....so you die and that takes care of the food, car payment, house payment......and AFLAC won't pay because you are dead.....also on a side note I doubt that AFLAC has a policy that would totally cover my food, car payment, house payment and all my other monthly bills....

Re: Working for Aflac?

Hello,

I'm new here and new to insurance. I was recently lured in by the duck. I have found the agent structure to be heavy on the recruiting and light on the support and training. After hundreds of cold calls and corporate drops, I have come to the conclusion that Aflac has completely saturated the market with desperate agents that behave like lemmings in a barrel of water, clawing over one another for a gasp of air. I am looking to find an insurance company that offers decent support and structure for new agents. Any suggestions on companies to look at?

Congratulations with your new career choice...I understand how you feel. You will greatly benefit with the tremendous agent support by my company for new agents, and seasoned alike. Review the enclosed and call me, my name is Carmen Day 310-294-9916

LOL what the heck??? man you are out there---- for one thing if you need surgery and it is a mater of life or death the non-private Hospitals have to give you the surgery..Not sure what the law is where you live but in Florida a Hospital can not refuse you care do to the fact you have no health insurnace!!!!! So your whole statemanet is BS !!!!! let me see $450 monthly insurance paymeant, $1000 dedcutable, and the policy only pays 60% of the surgery!!! gee thanks.

Again over $60 billion in assets, over 350,000 payroll accounts in the USA
Blows all other AFLAC copy cat companies away. AFLAC the fist with a "cancer" policy, The first to pay cash direct to the policy holder.
All the rest of the supplemeantal health companies are copy cats.
And as the saying goes being copied is the best from of flattery!!!

If AFLAC is soooo bad then why are there all these other companies doing the same thing??

what is your point here??? that AFLAC will not pay you to stay home and be a dead beat?? lot of people try there best to get on DI and stay on it, heck why not you do not have to work and still get paid,,,

now the benefit period can be up to 24 months. Lets face it if you are disabled for more than 24 months you need help, and if you are
permanently disabled then you get SS and medicare.

Thanks for your input--
