Did I dispute your facts? No, with the exception of sisalcell, I did not. I did and do dispute your and AFLAC's representation of the facts. All of which has been debated on here already. The fact that you continue on in the same way with the same script brings me back to my earlier statement. You're like the kid who KEEPS trying to put the square peg in the round hole.

I am sorry you had a bad experience with AFLAC.
I just don't think you are not being fare by the way you bash AFLAC.
As for me I do not work with and RSC's or DSC's.
I added AFLAC to my line 5 years ago do to there cancer policy. A friend of mine had brest cancer and she had to go through 70 chemotherapy treatments, then she was cancer free, her AFLAC cancer policy paid her $21,000 big ones for her 70 treatments.

I live in Florida I hold a 215 Life, Health & Annuity, series 7 & 66 license's
I have no reason to lie or BS you one bit..
aflac has opened doors for me with small business of 5-15 employees.

Again i'm sorry you had a bad experience with AFLAC.

My experience with AFLAC was educational. It prepared me to position myself to represent a much better (in my and many other's opinion) company. It prompted me to get my life, accident and health license and got me moving forward in the insurance industry. Perhaps my views of AFLAC would be different if I was an independent broker, but my experience was with an agency that only sold AFLAC. It is difficult to ignore lies that are perpetrated by those above you and that you can track on up the ladder past your managers. Thats great that AFLAC works for you. I know others that it works for as well. I just feel that the structure that they have in place for newly recruited agents does not work in anyone's best interests.

So you're the guy who takes a starting position at a Fortune 200 company, with no experience in insurance sales, works for one month before QUITTING, and really expected to make a salary of $250,000?

Now you're jobless, sitting in your basement naked from the waist down, banging away on the keyboard, claiming you were deceived.

You either misunderstood, or looked foolish enough during your interview that the recruiter decided to have a laugh at your expense.

In my office, I've got a 22 year old making six figures. I've got an agent in her 60's that has been with us for two years, no prior experience, making the same amount. I have an brand new agent that has been with me for one month, who has closed 12 accounts.

Writing $250,000 in premium over your first year is quite difficult, but not impossible. I meet a few every year. Consider a total commission of about 50% on business written, plus 6% renewals each year. Write only half that amount in premium ($125K) and your doing alright, considering that you are coming in on the ground floor, with no experience.

Sales ain't easy. If it were, everybody would be making money doing it. Aflac's training is such that if (often, a big IF) new people follow the program we lay out, they have a better than average chance at building a successful career, and making more money and security than they would ever make at a salaried position.

I'm proud of my company - and I have a big reason to be. If you are going to judge a company, consider the opinion of someone who has been sucessful, rather than some dude sitting half naked in a cellar.

There's a lot of inaccurate information in your post, but judging by your tone I'd say that doesn't matter to you. No, I'm not naked sitting in my basement. There are no basements in New Orleans, as the city is below sea level.

As I said in a previous post, I was very specific about the questions I asked. And most important, I was not really interested in the job. They pitched it to me and practically begged me to work for them. The only reason I chose to try it out was that I knew someone there.

Everything I stated was true. And had you bothered to read my entire post in another thread, you'd be better educated to discuss my situation. However, you're obviously one of the successful people working with Aflac. Again, I said very clearly that there were people who did quite well. My point was simply that making over 6 figures is NOT the norm. There are a handful of people in that category compared to the numerous other people duped into working for them with false promises of making incredible incomes.

I may have not been clear enough about the brochure that I was given from my regional. It had projected income listed over a ten year period for a new employee. I can't remember the exact amounts, but they were extreme. My point was, as I said earlier, that listed in fine print on the bottom of the page was that this brochure, which this manager is showing me to convince me to work for them, was an average of the top five producers in either the country or the southern region. I can't remember which. Either way I'd say that's not entirely typical, and most importantly, not probable that I'd be in the same category. If I was I'm sure I would have discovered my hidden talents for insurance sales years ago.

Congratulations on the six figure income. I'm glad you're successful and for the record I think Aflac has some great policies. My point was simply that most people getting involved with them are purposely misled. You know as well as I that the very means for qualifying leads is scripted with the intention of essentially lying to every single business owner you contact. Yet, you're defending the company which you claim to be completely honest in their intentions. And that the discrepancies were due to my incompetancy or lack of judgement.

The very scripts you use are blatant lies. "I recently opened a business in the area and wanted to mail you some information about our services." Um. No, I don't. I want to mislead you into giving up the business owner's name so I can pretend I know him personally, or we've spoken before.

I have a copy of the script in my briefcase.

Yes, they were misleading. Yes, you're essentially a door to door salesman knocking on doors and annoying the crap out of people. Yes, there are people making decent salaries. There are however a lot of people who are not. The vast majority if you're including all the people they hire over the course of a year.

So again, congratulations on your alleged six figure income. Congratulations on working in a tough, highly competetive field and allegedly being successful. I also know many people who claim to have six figure incomes working for companies like amway. I'm not saying its not possible. I'm saying there's a hell of a lot more involved to attain the level that you claim to have attained.

My judgement of AFLAC goes deeper than 1 DSC lying to me numerous times. It is a result of RSC's, DSC's, State coordinator, and agents (just like you) misrepresenting facts and operating in a less than ethical manner. It also has to do with how potential clients view AFLAC because of the way agents (such as yourself) have represented AFLAC. Your conduct on this board, as well as the conduct of many (not all) of the agents in the field is why AFLAC has a bad name with so many people in the industry and general public. I'm not knocking AFLAC's products, I am saying that they do a poor job of hiring and because of this, they are working against the enormous sum of money that they spend on advertising and gaining name recognition.

I really need to just start quoting you and not spend time writing all my jibberish.

I know that the folks I personally worked with in the Aflac office were very professional and do not condone the type of rude behavior you're displaying here. If you're truly trying to give legitimacy to the company, throwing out insults, bullying others, and bragging that you're successful because everyone else is less competant than you is not the way to go.
