Re: Working for Aflac?

The whole you can make a six-figure income pitch is kind of like telling someone that you are selling a very economical 3 cylinder Geo Metro that will go 140 mph. What you fail to tell them is that the stated top speed was only achieved once on a downhill 20% grade with a 100 mph tail wind. Is the top speed a fact? Yes, but it is greatly misrepresented. This is the way that AFLAC and many other companies lure people in. They use facts that are misrepresented.

Re: Working for Aflac?

it is always about money with you guy's....yea your company is big.....know why ......very little risk due to the capped amounts you pay your clients...so much money left over you can not swing a dead cat with out hitting a AFLAC ad.......

LOL dead cat what the heck.....is that like a dead cat bounce?? hehe

And don't all insurance companies have caps?? I know an agent that writes for United American, there sup health plans cap at $25K $50k or $100k so there you have 3 options on the max amount they will pay.
So if you are real poor(to keep the premiums low) you pick the max $25k and hope you dont get sick or hurt ....

Rip-off Report: Aflac misrepresenting clients & failing to act promptly on claims Columbus Georgia

Aflac misrepresenting clients & failing to act promptly on claims Columbus Georgia

Aflac is a misrepresenting company. they do not process their claims promply. They failed to pay a claim or process it in a timley manner. So my husband who had a tumor ended up loseing his right kidney (he had no other medical insurance)because of funds for medical expenses. we were denied medical treatment twice due to not having the money to pay up front for a catscan.

The rep who sold the policy was not properly trained or gave full information of the policy information. This company advertisement is not fully the truth. they are a misleading and heartless company.

08-03 MEMORANDUM TO: Aflac Field Force SUBJECT: Insurance Fraud and Prohibited Practices DATE: January 4, 2008

MEMORANDUM TO:
Aflac Field Force
SUBJECT:
Insurance Fraud and Prohibited Practices
DATE:
January 4, 2008
Because of the serious nature of insurance fraud and its adverse impact on our customers, associates, and
business reputation, we want to review with you some of the concepts of Aflac's fraud policy. The
following pages of this memo contain a brief summary of the fraud policy and examples of actions that
are considered fraudulent. Please take a moment to review this summary and make sure that you
understand its message and implications.
Aflac takes a strong stand against insurance fraud in connection with the sale, purchase, service, and
claims process involving Aflac insurance. If we find sufficient evidence to confirm that a person has
committed insurance fraud or other prohibited practices, Aflac will take appropriate action, up to and
including termination and/or prosecution. We will also report the incident as required to the state
insurance department, and the appropriate state and federal authorities.
We know the vast majority of our associates maintain a high level of integrity and ethical business
practices in their daily activities. We want to continue encouraging these same high standards of conduct
in our dealings with our applicants, policyholders, claimants, state and local officials, and all individuals
we encounter in the sale and servicing of Aflac insurance.

Re: Working for Aflac?

Do you still state that Aflac is the only company that pays the client cash?

hehe that was my bait & switch statement-------------
No AFLAC is not the only insurance that pays cash to the policy holder..
They were the first with this idea, and AFLAC has no ID cards (except for dental)

Re: Working for Aflac?

What's the matter inuranceguy, didn't you get any love as a child? Why the bitterness toward me, or AFLAC?

I think I've made it clear that I'm a coordinator with AFLAC. Posting name, address, phone, e-mail, and Social Security number doesn't seem to be a requirement in this forum. Do you require this "stepping out of the shadows and being real" with everybody who posts, or just those you disagree with?

However, I would be more than happy to e-mail you my cell phone number if you'd like further information about AFLAC. You can let me know.

Remember Sir, "If you are not the lead dog, the view is always the same."

Lurking in the shadows as always,

PL

No I only ask that of people who I feel are dishonest....

And for someone in sales, to be shy not to give out a number, seems shady to me...

But dont publish your social security number unless you have lifelock...
