To Green Sky: They don't cost twice as much, unless you're comparing it to a Dell, which are garbage, I got a macbook pro for $1525, with a free printer. Plus your productivity goes up and they duel boot windows and it runs better than on a PC.

Oh and great argument Crazy Rick, "Macs suck" speaks of total ignorance, like when people say a band sucks, it means either they don't like them or don't get it.

Which is it for you?

1. Macs suck
2. McAfee
No suites, no bullcrap questions from the software pkg like: "Oh, uh, user? Uh, we have a virus here. Uh, what do you want us to do with it? We can put it in quarantine, but uh". Then you have to do 15 manuvers before YOU manually delete the damn thing.
3. McAffe DOESN'T slow down a computer and is automatic. ie: It'll catch a virus, tell you, and kill it. It doesn't ask you stupid questions and interrupt everything you're doing on the net if it catches one. It catches Trojans, sasur worms, adware, all that stuff tuff guy.

I have both tuff guy. GF owns the Mac OS10. I don't want to press three buttons to do one manuver. Ie: apple, f4 + shift to do one thing. Macs are for graphic artists and web page designers and such. And I'll go as far to say Britney Spears sucks compared to The Great Led Zeppelin. Don't argue with me especially about music: ever.

No, I'm not surprised. Zeppelin rocks and I AM an expert in music. I play four different instruments and write horn charts and have several records out. I can't help my temper some times. I'm Italian AND from Jersey. No....no Irocs. In the 1990's I had a 1976 Cordoba in mint condition with that "rich corinthian leather." I guess I take things too personally. I'm working on that though. I get that from my Dad. I just enjoy going thru three motions (Mac) to do one, simple operation. With a PC, cntrl s: done. cntrl x: done.

For the one guy looking for anti-virus - the two free ones are AVG (already mentioned) and lesser known but very good is Avast.

Okay on music - you have to admit that Bonham was not a great drummer. (BTW - Jimmy Page has a house about 1/2 mile from my office.)

Bruford, Steve Gadd, loads of great drummers. Phil Collins is a very good drummer. His jazz stuff with brand X is very good. i can think of at least a dozen more.

I know a lot of computer nerd, pirate and hacker types. Almost all prefer NOD. Eset Smart Suite is another name it goes by. It is very easy on system resources and catches everything McAfee and Norton can plus some... I have run them all and I now only use NOD. YMMV

I can list many also, but I've never heard anyone (except non drummers) say Bonham wasn't great.

You're also mentioning non rock drummers, Vinnie Colaiuta's a monster, Chambers, Weckle, etc.
