Congrat's on your early success, However, if you just read thru all the posts of starting a new P&C, anyone could write the article or book. You'll notice this forum is a wealth of knowledge from the pro's who's been doing it for sometime. I'm a newbie as well, so I definitely can appreciate what you've accomplished in a short perios of time, but to think you can make money off that asking people who's been doing it for x years, I don't think you'll get the answer your looking for.
Cali Jake, couple things. First, Agent secure has a min of 2 years indusrty exp in order to sign up with them. Ins Noodle is good, but no binding authority, that may or not matter. SIAA, I can get a call back which makes me leary of recomending them. You may want to look at Smart Choice. However, I think SIAA and I know Smart choice has a 2 yr non-compete clause. Having said that, that's only using there carriers. Meaning you can have a direct appt, and still access smart choice carriers. But any of those carriers you access thru smart choice, you'd have a non-compete.
I hope this helps, I'm figuring out myself.
