without a fair description of what you will use the new computer for, i will try to give my input.
First, I love Apple Computers! They are great fun and provide a level of continued free service that is nonexistent in the Windows world.
Sadly the lack of integration with common insurance related software creates a big negative for Apple. Yes you can run virtual windows software etc... but really? Does that seem practical in your everyday work flow? For me Apple is great for my personal needs. Sadly though for the insurance industry, a windows PC just makes more sense.
Plus the budget friendly PC's either laptop or desktop will handle 99% of users needs. Most people think they need a new computer when they really just need to clean the crap out of the old one.
Unless you are going to do some heavy design work, then by all means by the Apple. But for basic word processing, Agency management etc... why spend the extra$$$ for frills and potential headaches with the virtual environment.
