I just talked to a guy who wanted to take out a life insurance policy on his mother. He had let her previous policy lapse, but now she is 87, in a nursing home, has alzheimers, and doesn't have much time left. So, he reckens it's time to get that policy set up again.

Tell him you will insure her for $10,000 but only if he pays the premium, $15,000, up front.

Why and how could he let her policy lapse. You can't fix stupid. Actually, this guy may go for it.

I got a call earlier in the year. From the guys hospital room. The family had just been told that the drunken uncle was to sick to be put on the liver transplant list. They wanted to know if I could come to the hospital to write the plan I proposed a couple years ago.

I bet one day a person will call, after the family member has passed away, and ask if they can go back and retroactivly put a policy in effect.

This thread keeps going off in different tangents. What we should be doing is trying to find Wheeler and resuscitate him. I heard a rumor that Wheeler found D. B.
