No Experience In Ins. My Journal

Life and Health E&O is super affordable compared to P&C E&O. As an insurance agent, we all talk about transferring the risk. It makes too much sense to transfer your E&O risk to an insurance company rather than taking it on yourself.

Napa Benefits has good E&O prices. I usually send my agents there. They even have a new agent price thats like $375 a year. Not bad for a noob.

oh and for products, i would suggest Mutual of Omaha (Living Promise, NOT the express), Monumental, Liberty Bankers Life and Kemper to back all that up. They have pretty solid GI products.

That's a pretty weak lineup. Youd never have a point of sale approval, plus all their rates are too high. Mutual of omaha is not a good choice, kemper is too high, and liberty bankers? I would get frustrated and quit if that's the only carriers I had.

so you quickly turn down my suggestions, but don't reply with any that you use that you think are better? sounds pretty weak to me. if you want to compare apples to apples, lets chat. otherwise, come with some facts or don't come at all. :)

Yeah, that's the ticket. That type of replu will make everyone eager to help.:D

well he came aggressive telling me my advice was bad, but didnt mention what he had that was better. i am clearly stating that from my experience i have some good carriers that i work with. if he has better i would be glad to hear what those are. but as we both see, the silence has it.. some people here think they know it all, but dont know anything. seems we have another one here.

Maybe you read the whole thread then? He has always named good companies to use.

When you say we have another one here you must be talking about yourself. You would be well served with your one month and 5 post experience to shut up and just read for a few months. Maybe you will start to get a clue and can chime in then. You will not get anyone's help with your current attitude.

good companies in who's opinion? I'd never set up a new agent with foresters. I will rewrite foresters all day long. They have some "benefits" sure, but the price is too high and god forbid you get a negative balance, they vector you in 90 days with no options for setting up a payment plan. not to mention they are not very stable, just last year they had to increase rates on their products, change the outline of the application and decrease what they paid on policies. That sounds REAL stable.

what pisses me off the most about this "debate" is the fact that two people jump in, they also have nothing to bring to the conversation other than some aggressive tactics trying to defend someone who didnt bother defending themselves.

Would either of you like to explain to me why using foresters would be better than using United of Omaha - Living Promise? I would be happy to run some quotes. Even Monumental Life has better rates.

lets stop being hostile here and have a sensible debate. if thats possible with your hostile nature..

Who said anything about using Foresters? I wouldn't use them either. B ut you go ahead and show some MoO rates and I will show you half a dozen better options.

And, they won't have to deal with MoO. That's worth quite a bit right there.
