So far in the independent side of the house, I am not having much luck with selling or scheduling appointments over the phone. I am getting leads and have a script going but I either get flaky people over the phone, bad leads with fake names and numbers and getting beat by some other agent in contacting them 1st.
I was thinking of standing in a shopping center parking lot or going door to door talking to people. What can I say to someone once I meet with them in person in order to get an interest or appointment set? I do not want to seem desperate in person or get shut down every time I would say something that is soliciting. Any advice on a good script or first couple of lines to say in person? I was thinking a couple of hours in the morning on door to door B2B or maybe house to house. Goal of maybe talking to 30-40 people a day. Any advice?
