Obamacare = Medicaid Plus

Who in the world will want obamacare? I read that the plans have such high moop like 6k . why would anyone want a plan that has 6k moop?

You been out in that sun too long. Do you think Obama is selling plans? There are plans now that have higher moop than $6000. By the way since you seem uninformed moop is the max you may have to pay out of pocket annually.

On a serious note, "want" has nothing to do with it, if you're an American that makes more than 133%FPL you're basically required to have healthcare or face a penalty.

OOP of 6k is not the problem, I've been selling plans like that for years.

The problem is plans won't have a higher OOP than 6k !!

If you're an agent asking this question.......that's another problem.

From my research the Bronze plans have the most exposure with the OOP and Per Occurrence Co Pays.

The Silver plans have much rich benefits but still share the same out of pockets.

I would agree the exchange plans I have viewed do look like medicaid plan especially being HMO plans with very narrow networks.
