Obamacare Strikes

In GA Blue is 70% but can go higher. Going on memory, but I believe they can apply it to the entire family unit.

When Obamacrap rules on kids first went in to play that was their approach. Not sure if they modified this or not.

Aetna also would apply the load across the family.

Cigna, no idea but I don't send ANY families to them due to the comp. They are not competitive here so it doesn't really matter.

I also heard UH1 was unlimited but can't confirm.

Isn't Obamacrap wonderful?

We just got a 600% rate up on a kid at CoventryOne. No comp offered either (on the child, not even standard), not that they are going to take this. Over $600 for the child alone.

no matter how bad things seem...remember they could always be worse. I know Obama's reforms are not very popular, but I do not believe that all the reforms will come at once...it will take time to fix all the issues. Having said that I feel he is on the right track. I have a chronic disease that requires alot of medications and supplies. I feel I am doing better under the new reforms.

Then I trust you will be pleased when you see premiums 3x higher than current.

Yes, life will be grand then for all of us. Even the healthy folks get to pay a "premium" rate.

Had the same issue with H1 with acne meds. Family had come off of a benefit-rich group plan, and they have 2 teenage daughters so they were of course on several very expensive meds (which their great group plan covered pretty well I guess). Anyway, both were rated, one at 80%, the other at 500% (yes 500). So instead of getting a rider (and the parents maybe deciding to give Proactiv a try) they were stuck. We even had the underwriter send us a spreadsheet outlining what the cost of the meds would be per month because we had never seen that before.

Tell them the ProActiv (don't buy on TV) works like a charm.
