As time passes and more data is gathered, the percentage of people who are paying their premiums is declining. As of April 15th, Congressional Investigators found that only 67% have paid.

Maybe it's just me, but I can't help but see strong similarities between these healthcare subsidies and the subsidies to help people struggling with their mortgage payments. Even after lowering and restructuring mortgage payments people STILL would not make payments. Many Americans are in bad shape, in many ways, and all they are interested in is extending things for as long as possible with the hope that some miracle is just over the horizon.

No miracle came in 2008, and no miracle is on it's way now.

This is absolute rubbish.
The premiums for May 1 effectives aren't even due yet, some of my people haven't even got a bill yet. I call BS on this one.

With your assessment, I am sure you have a document that refutes the one linked. Or is it more that you hope it's BS?

I have one person that ended up not paying, but I am just one agent. How many people did not use an agent? How many did? Do you think maybe there could be a correlation? If a consumer used the guidance of an agent, I would speculate that the consumer is more likely to be persistent whereas someone that got into something they don't understand on their own or through a call center employee without any health insurance experience. But that is just speculation. It will be interesting to see if these statistics are published in a year.

Why do you continue to dodge the request from everyone that you back up your crap theories with something substantive. Can you link to an actual study that shows specific enrollment data? Can you link to anything I have asked you to link to throughout this thread? I have asked you to back up your blather no fewer than three times and you have yet to do it once. Why is that? Do facts interfere with your version of reality?

Ok....motormouth...your book has paid mine has paid and others have paid. Nobody is running a rate that low....but you want me to prove it?????

My thoughts exactly. It's the people who signed up at Obama Rah-Rah rallies and other arm-twisting, peer-pressure events that aren't paying. My persistency is close to 100% like yours, and other high-quality agents here in the forum.

85% placement is more than what I expected. There are carriers that have lower overall placement than that.
