Opening an Agency in MA

I've been in the P & C insurance industry for several years in a variety of rolls (CS, Agent, Underwriter) and am now going to open my own agency. I'm having difficulty finding a book of business to purchase though

i've been negotiating with the SANGROUP and am close to entering into a contact with them.

Can anyone offer any advice on the Sangroup (good or bad) or any other options I may have available? The carriers wont speak to me so i have to start from Scratch and the Sangroup is my most viable option

it looks like they are part of siaa. enter siaa in the in seach a lot will pop up... they have a good reputation.. but i think it is a 10k, buy in.. and they own a piece of your business that you will have to pay when you sell...
