.ORG or .NET

Just curious on some thoughts from SEO persons...

For example...let's say you were creating a dental (or disability...doesn't really matter) in a state. We'll use Alaska as
the example.

Assuming the .com was taken...Is it better to buy Alaskadental.net or Alaskadental.org?

We'll assume that we did the same SEO for both sites and all your traffic was generated from people searching online for "Alaska Dental" etc...

If you have a .org site, does it have to fall within certain guidelines or can you do what you want with it?

Thanks.

OK. Thanks. I'm on DigitalPoint all of the time so I must have missed it.

I ended up buying three domains. Two .nets and a .com with a dash.

Probably won't use them for a few years, and if this reform is thrown out, I'll never have to use them!

according to godaddy.com net is used for infrastructure or related services...........org for non commercial orgs and by business to showcase their charitable activities.
Buying a few is a good idea, I'm heading in that direction this weekend.
