Part D and the Pharmacist?

Exactly. You don't need to get contracted/certified with the Part D carriers to get the benefits of helping. We ran ~110 folks through here so far this year on the part D concerns. Most of them were our existing clients, but we've picked up somewhere around 12-15 new medicare supplements do to having knowledge and the ability to assist in this area. Next year we most likely won't bother getting cert'd, but will follow through with the assistance. That decision will depend on our compensation this year. If we make $3000-4000 then it might be worth the hassle.

Look at it this way: Get certified, help with part D, get new clients that will pay a nice future income, take a ten day vacation on a Mexican island with the "bonus" income.
