PDP Premiums for 2008

Ive got dozens of PDP plans that I sold in 2008 that I never even got paid for. Who can afford to or even wants to waste hours and hours of their time chasing down 25 and 50 dollar commissions they got cheated out of. I had a fellow agent say to me over lunch a week or so back that maybe I had been out of line thinking that I could make any money sellling those PDP plans that pretty much everyone was going to buy anyway and would be such an easy sale. He told me it was that old rule come to bite me in the ass which simply goes "If it looks to good to be true then it probably is"..........In a way my friend was right.

I still remember one poor fellow I called on about two years ago that rolled out a cart of drugs when I asked him about his Rx! No joke! There must have been over a 100 drug vials on his cart. I asked him how many he took a day, and he said "All of them"! I almost choked... if I had to take that many drugs I wouldn't have room in my stomach for food, let alone be able to function normally....

Not many clients are drugged this heavily, but some reach the "donut" hole in February of each year... does that tell you something about their Rx costs?

You probably will come out of the gap in April.
