Personal/Commercial P&C Coastal Exposures????HELP

I am starting a P&C agency dealing with both personal and small-medium commercial business in SC.

Some of my current clients have coastal property exposures...whether personal or commercial.

I am using a wholesaler to start that does not cover coastal exposures for either.....what are my ptions?

Check out Main Street America Group. They have markets for Small Commercial and Personal lines up the entire coast. Not sure if they appoint startups but its worth a phone call.

I saw a policy written through Johnson and Johnson in Charleston for condos--very nice package with wind hail, flood, included in one policy. very reasonably prices. have you checked with a company called SIU? I think they can write some coastal but not sure.

MSA is a good choice.

Johnson & Johnson, as mentioned, has an excellent range of products for coastal property. We've used them the past several years and have been very pleased with pricing and service.

Hanover Excess has an admitted HO market for both primary and rental homes (rented less than 25 weeks per year).

Good luck with your search - I know how frustrating it can be to find carriers for coastal property.
