Good start to the week!
4 sales out of 5 presentations today for $3,033 AP.
Two husband and wife sales (gotta love it). Both had no coverage and knew they needed it.
2 appointments for tomorrow and plenty of DM leads to knock on.
How's everyone else doing?

Finally had a breakout week after over 2 months of costly "education". Less worried about selling and more concerned about listening and helping...being a consultant. Little telling and a whole lot of leading.
It feels good at so many levels that I am helping people!

$3300 for week. No appts for today. All door knocking. I've got 40 DM leads I haven't been able to catch. Good day to call AM, afternoon, PM between DK's to fill Friday.
Been blessed with a beautiful day at least. And finally found something to eat in this zipcode besides McD's! I was worried if I worked this zip much longer, I'd end up like my clients.

I'm out in the field right now, so hungry.. One of the true difficulties about this business. Finding time to eat food! Lol..
My week is going good..
I did $1,811 yesterday on 3 apps.
I'm over $6,700 ap for the week. Door knocking leads today.. My goal is always $7,500 when I hit $800 today I'm heading home and calling it a week.

Finished the week at 12 sales 16 face to faces for $8,383 AP
This business is simple but its not "easy".
It's simple in the fact that if you do a few things consistently every week you WILL be successful.
1. Order LEADS EVERY WEEK!
I try to set myself up to where I get 30 direct mail leads every week. Some weeks it's hard to keep up with all of them but I personally would rather have too much than not enough. Leads is the life blood of our business!
2. See the people!
If you want to double your income in this business the answer of doing that is simple. Double the amount of prospects you sit down with. Show me a guy who CONSISTENTLY sits down and has a full presentation with at least 15 people a week and I will show you a guy who can't help but be successful.
3. Be a problem solver NOT a regular salesman
When you're sitting down with prospects ask questions like "what was your motivation for filling out this card?", ask and write down names of children and use those names throughout the presentation. Find out what the clients need is and show them how your program is EXACTLY what the client is looking for.
If you want to start having the success that so many of the agents on this forum are having you need to be willing to do what they are doing.
Also, to all the new agents to FE... Don't be so concerned about getting contracted with 15 companies right away. When I started I had 2 companies.. A company that offered a full benefit and graded benefit. And second I had a gauranteed issue company. Between those two I was able to write a ton of business. It's important to keep your priorities in order. Product knowledge is NOT as important as getting out in the field, cutting your teeth and seeing the people with a few companies you represent Maybe you need more than 2 companies, but starting off you don't need more than 5.

Took me all day to set 4 appts for tomorrow. I barely qualified so there will be some waste of times there. I'll have a couple hours to DK on morning. Last appt 3pm and loving it!

Also a VERY GOOD COMMENT ABOUT ATTITUDE! Attitude is everything! I've gone out stressed, tired, and frustrated. What a waste of good leads. Fake smiles are fake smiles..period. Better off taking time off.
Another tip That's working for me: add-ons. The very last thing I fill out on the app is the benefit amount / premium.
- "I bet it feels good Knowing that your kids won't go broke when you die!
- Let me ask, did you want to leave a couple thousand dollars extra for bobby beneficiary for just a few cents a day?
- once a premium is settled, then offer rounding up. "Most people like to work with whole numbers miss Jones. Would $55 be easier for you to remember?"
